At Roxbury Presbyterian Church we believe that it is unacceptable for anyone to feel alone as they experience the joys and struggles of life. That is one of the main reasons we consider small groups to be central to the life and ministry of RPC. Small groups meet in the homes of small group "hosts" and usually consist of 5-10 people. They provide an opportunity for people to build relationships in a way that is sometimes difficult in the context of a large worship service. Small groups meet weekly for fellowship, study, and prayer and are a great way to connect with others as you learn together what it means to be a follower of Christ. We also believe that the church is not a building, but it is a people and small groups give us a chance to take the church outside of the four walls of the building. At Roxbury Presbyterian Church we aim to be a church "of" small groups, not a church "with" small groups.
